Like all rex resorts, Halcyon Cove is right on the beach, so you won’t have far to travel for your pre-breakfast swim or romantic, moonlit stroll. The resort is located on the shores of Dickenson Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. It’s also a great place from which to explore Antigua and perhaps discover some of the other 300-plus beaches on and around this lovely island. Islanders proudly claim they have a beach for every day of the year! During the day, Halcyon Cove has a range of activities for you to enjoy. Make the most of the beach location with water sports, relax around the freshwater outdoor pool, enjoy a game of tennis, or just settle down with a good book in the landscaped tropical gardens. Halcyon cove boasts some of the widest range of room types on the island, designed to give maximum choice for the most discerning guests. Whether your looking for a modest room or the grandest beachfront suites, halcyon cove has it all. Please be aware that all 210 guest rooms are now non smoking. The key to any happy holiday is a happy child. The kids club offers a secret hideaway and a range of activities designed to make the children’s stay at Halcyon Cove unique and memorable. Halcyon Cove can provide high chairs and cots and the staff will happily provide any necessary assistance to help you prepare food and milk. For your convenience, babysitting services can be arranged. These are paid for locally and 24-hours notice is required. In addition to an hourly rate, you may be required to cover the travel costs of the babysitter, particularly if you plan to stay out late. To keep children entertained, a children's club is available for 4 to 12 year olds, Monday to Friday from 10.15 to 12.30, and 14.15 to 16.00 (except public holidays), by request only. Please advise reception when you check-in of your requirements in order for the necessary arrangements to be made. A small outside play area is also available (please note that children must be supervised at all times when using this facility). There is not sufficient space in the Beachfront Rooms to accommodate children. All other room categories will accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 children. Interconnecting Standard, Superior and Poolside rooms are available upon request.
